Photographer's Snippet: Bennie & Carla are both originally from Montagu. Bennie is a farmer and Carla, a chef. They’ve know each other for 14 years and decided to have a 1920 Gatsby theme for their wedding. The guests dressed up accordingly, which made for some awesome photos :) I absolutely LOVED the details that Carla used. There were typewriters (which I was crazy about!) where guests could type the couple personal messages, old suitcases, wooden carved hearts, a beautiful vintage Chevy as well as Croquet, Bowls and Chess games that the guests got to enjoy. As the sun set, out came a huge table filled with many jars of candy, the kind you ate when you were young :), like marshmellow fish, chomps, candy necklaces, and sweetie pies.

PS. I don’t usually use vintage editing, but I fell in love with the nostalgic character it gave my images from this wedding :)
